The purpose of this position is to oversee the implementation Health projects (Family Planning and Post Abortion Care Project (FP&PAC) and LDS Immunization Scale up) in Karkaar region. As the project manager, he/she is expected to provide technical oversight to the day to day implementation of the projects, including technical support to the regional Ministry of Health (in Karkaar), to ensure that objectives projects are delivered timely and with quality.
Contract Duration: 6 months with possible extension
Qualifications & Experience
- A Bachelor degree of Qualified midwife/Nurse, clinical officer or Equivalent Medical Qualifications.
- Proven experience in primary health care, through the whole project cycle (from needs assessment, planning, developing programmes, managing, M&E).
- Proven ability to manage a programme including management of human and material resources.
- Experience of health worker training on reproductive health and capacity building of national structures.
