“I really fear for my children.  One of them has a fever and has been vomiting since we came to this camp,” says Hani Abdirahman. “I got some medicines from a community health volunteer, but my child is not getting better. I pray the situation does not get worse.”

Somalia: Tens of thousands of flood-hit families in Hiraan urgently need humanitarian aid

Mogadishu, October 24th, 2019  An estimated 140,000 people – including some 70,000 children - in the Hiraan region of Somalia who have been forced to flee rising flood waters to higher grounds are in desperate need of clean water, food, temporary latrines and shelter, Save the Children is warning.
